Welcome to the official site of Inspirational Author and Poet Tanya Finney. Habakkuk 2:2 states, And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. The vision that Tanya was given came in the form of a company, “Divine Expressions,” utilized for writing what God has inspired her to write. In her debut poetic work, Love Letters: Connecting the Heart of Man to God, she discusses her journey to discover that true love comes from Christ. One poem, “A Father’s Love,” explains:

A father’s love is shaped by God
To keep us in line without sparing the rod
Armed with the Word, he keeps the family strong
It’s with him that God created a close bond
A vision implanted to keep the family together
As he holds on to God despite the type of spiritual weather
His children are showered with affection from love
He guides their destiny set by Him above
A little girl’s hero, a boy’s role model
His job doesn’t end when we put down the bottle
As adults, his advice helps to pave the way
Giving us insight by merging night into day
A father embodies courage, strength, honor, and integrity
And opens our eyes to who God created us to be.

In the beginning of her career as a writer she thought she would only write poetry, but her talents have been expanded into short stories and a full length novel.
